WestFest June 2-4
If you’re looking to celebrate the good ol’ Canadian culture, then you can’t miss out on WESTFEST. Each year, thousands of Ottawans clear their calendars to indulge in this three-day-long event that celebrates Canadian art and culture. There’s a diverse lineup of entertainment, from buskers, street performers, media art, visual art, contemporary dance, music and so much more.
Rib Fest June 14 – 18

Canada SCENE June 15 – July 23
From mid-June to July you can enjoy a multitude of musical performances, along with visual art, film, theatre, dance, circus and culinary events that create this unique and inspiring national celebration. Events and performance will be taking place throughout different locations in Ottawa as part of Canada SCENE. This event aims to inspire and celebrate the diversity that makes Canada so great.
Jazz Festival June 22 – July 2
Love jazz? Well so does Ottawa! And that’s why each and every summer the city rolls out the red carpet to celebrate all that’s glorious about this genre of music. The TD Ottawa Jazz Festival features some of the most renowned jazz musicians from around the globe. You can indulge in the music of artists such as Feist, Serena Ryder, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Maceo Parker & The Ray Charles Orchestra, and even Kenny Rogers.
This festival is 11 days long, with concerts taking place outdoors at the Confederation Park in the heart of downtown Ottawa, along with the National Arts Centre and a variety of other venues.
Dragon Boat Festival Jun 22-25
To kick off the first weekend of the summer, bring the family out to enjoy the excitement at the Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival. Watch North America’s premier dragon boaters compete while enjoying a stunning lineup of musical performances like Dear Rouge, The Zolas, Half Moon Run, and many more.
