Don’t Miss Out On These Ottawa Community Events in July

Ceramic Art Exhibit: Presented by Michelle Lemire, “Empreinte métamorphique” is a ceramic art exhibit that allowed the artist to express her passion for biodiversity as well as remembrance and cultural mix. Critics of her artwork have said they’re amazed at how well her work demonstrates how flexible, fragile and resilient ceramic can be.

Shakespeare Festival: Come enjoy an incredible performance by a Company of Fools during Torchlight Shakespeare. Held in Ottawa’s parks all summer long, this series will give you the opportunity to enjoy the hilarious romantic comedy As You Like. This family friendly event honors the Pay What You Can System and is a fun night for everyone!

Special Gallery Event: Visit the owaa gallery for a chance to view and purchase new artwork from local artists and even fill out a People’s Choice ballot of your favorite artwork.

First World War Exhibit: Presented at the Canadian War Museum, this exhibit titled “Witness”
examines how Canadians depicted their First World War experiences in art, both at home and overseas.
