Ottawa Community Events Planned for April 2015

Ottawa Grassroots Festival: This family-friendly indoor event features folk music, beautiful dances and even spoken word. There are also evening performances and daily workshops to enjoy. It’s a fun time for the whole family!

BioART Exhibit: This group exhibition explores contemporary collaborations between humans and other species in the lab. It’s very fascinating and unique and definitely worth checking out!

For the Record Photography Exhibit: Explore early Canadian travel photos at this fascinating exhibit. These photos helped build the burgeoning tourist industry in Canada and they capture awe-inspiring views all around the country.

Orchid Society Show: Have a master gardener in your family? That person will simply love the Ottawa Orchid Society Show then! This magnificent showcase features more than 600 blooming orchids. The them includes exceptional Japanese arrangements as well as locally-created ones.
