If you and your loved ones enjoy photography, then head over to the Canadian War Museum this month to check out the exhibit: “Two Views – Photographs by Ansel Adams and Leonard Frank.” This exhibit illustrates the experiences of both Japanese Canadians as well as Japanese Americans who were forced to relocate during the second World War. For more information on this event (which runs through March 23), contact the museum at 819.776.7000.
If, however, you’re more into sports, you may consider checking out an upcoming Ottawa Senators game. Although they play 41 regular season home games at the Canadian Tire Centre, their season will be ending on April 12. Catch a game while you can by calling 613-599-0250 for more information.

Are you a history buff? Then you will certainly enjoy an upcoming exhibit at the Canadian Museum of Civilization titled, “Champlain, the First Account.” Created to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Samuel de Champlain’s odyssey up the Ottawa River, this display explore the culture of the Aboriginal people as well as the French explorer’s adventures in the Ottawa Valley in 1613.
And if you’re more into the natural sciences than history, I recommend you check out the Frogs-A Chorus of Colours at the Canadian Museum of Nature. This exhibit showcases the vocally-stunning frog species. Call 613-566-4700 for more information.
